Discher Park Sewer Relay Construction

Work this week began (08/15/2022) in preparation for the upcoming Sewer Relay Construction Project in the area.  Traffic signage and equipment is being moved into the area. Construction is scheduled start Monday the week of August 15th; with limited disruption of City streets anticipated until the second week.  Please refer to attached map.
The intersection of North Finch and Jersey Street will be dug up in first week and will not allow vehicle passage for a day or two.  Thereafter underground sewer replacement work will progress to the east along the south edge of the baseball field area.  The second week of work is anticipated to disrupt the intersection of North Palmatory and Ellsworth Streets that will then be dug up, with work extending further northward.  The closure of this intersection could occur for over a weeks time.
Project construction in all areas will allow for daily Resident access using alternate routes.  Gravel patching of the roadways will be established right away and maintained until permanent surfaces are completed later.  Construction signage will be placed to direct motorists and pedestrians safely as work progresses.
Please contact the City of Horicon Department of Public Works (920) 485-3540 or 920-808-0002 should there be additional questions or concerns regarding the upcoming work. Periodic updates will be provided as work progresses on Facebook page:
